Gosh, it's been a while since I last blogged. Looks like Thanksgiving was my last entry. Yikes. As a writer, my goal is supposed to be to write every day. Christmas definitely got in the way of that goal. The holidays were tough on me again. Two Christmases without my Tall Man. We started some new traditions, though and managed to have a peaceful holiday.
I think what got me through the most though, was knowing I was going on a cruise with my youngest sister in the middle of January. We are pictured above after one (or many) martinis. We had a marvelous time! Managed to miss the arctic blast in Missouri!
The cruise itself was so good for my soul, but cruising with my sister made it perfect. The only thing better would have been to have both sisters with me. Next time!
We laughed about sharing a room with someone with whom you share DNA. It's just so easy! She and I are two peas in a pod and I love her dearly.
Treat yourselves, folks. Just do it. We don't know what tomorrow holds.
